Jon Sytsma Elected as Shareholder
Grand Rapids, Mich., Sept. 7, 2016 – Hungerford is pleased to announce the election of Jon Sytsma to the position of Shareholder effective September 1, 2018.

Jon celebrated the completion of his 11th tax season with Hungerford this year. Jon’s primary focus at Hungerford is tax planning, compliance and developing tax-efficient strategies for privately-held businesses and their shareholders.
He has extensive experience in the taxation of and planning for various forms of business entities, such as corporations, partnership and limited liability companies. He also has considerable experience in tax compliance and planning for a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, construction, real estate and professional service industries that include: doctors, dentists, advertising/marketing and software developers. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Calvin College in 2003 and his Master of Science degree in Taxation from Grand Valley State University in 2011.
He is a frequent presenter on tax laws and tax changes. Jon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He also serves on the board as Treasurer of Arbor Circle.
