LOCATION Grand Rapids, Michigan

STATUS Full-time, Hourly

SCHEDULE   Primarily Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Some overtime and some Saturdays required January through April


As a key member of our firm, the position will assume an important role in providing a variety of services to our clients as well as supporting other team members. The primary day-to-day responsibilities will involve tax return processing and other administrative duties.   • Minimum of two years related administrative experience in a professional office setting
  • Prior experience in a CPA firm preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Highly detail-oriented with proficient organization skills
  • Dedication and teamwork
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and calendaring
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Professional and personable


  • Tax return quality control
  • Tax return assembly with high attention to detail
  • Helping make the accounting professionals as efficient as possible by helping with any administrative related task
  • Preparing general correspondence
  • Organizing and maintaining neat filing shelves
  • Miscellaneous projects: data-entry, folding and mailing invoices, set-up for events/presentations, scheduling conference rooms, large print or copy jobs, etc.
  • Coverage at front desk for receptionist when primary back-up is not available
  • Answering and transferring phone calls with pleasant demeanor
  • Greeting and assisting clients with respect and kindness
  • Other duties as assigned
