TITLE Certified Public Accountant Manager

SUMMARY As a key member of our firm, the position will assume an important role in providing a variety of accounting and auditing related services to our clients and community. The primary day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing governmental and not-for-profit audit engagements, tax return review, and relationship building. JOB DUTIES

  • Planning, coordinating, supervising and executing governmental entity and not-for-profit audits in compliance with applicable GAAS, GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Managing teams across multiple clients involving allocating work to staff and senior accounting team to manage audit engagements to budget
  • Develop, train, and mentor staff and senior accountants
  • Research technical accounting and auditing issues and provide technical review support
  • Review individual, corporation, and trust tax returns
  • Manage and build client relationships

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field
  • CPA designation – Yellow Book certified
  • Minimum 6 years of public accounting experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and utilize other software packages to benefit work product and firm
  • Highly detail-oriented with strategic organization skills
  • Effective and consistent communication skills
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision and take initiative
  • Professionalism, positive attitude, personable
  • Strong relationship building skills for client contact and business development
