Finance Team Manager

What is your area of specialty – how do you best help your clients?

• Billing – work with our staff to provide timely invoicing to our clients.
• Collections – work with our clients to get invoices paid by providing additional information, copies of invoices, payment options, etc.

What are your top 5 strengths? What is your favorite strength?

1. Responsibility
2. Achiever
3. Developer
4. Input
5. Analytical

Responsibility is my top strength and also my favorite because I love to take ownership of my tasks – and people can trust that when I say I will do something, I will not only get it done but it will be done well. I like that people know they can count on me.

How do you like to give back to the community?

I love to volunteer for different groups when the need arises. Luckily, through Hungerford, I am able to volunteer at all different areas whether that be for a community event or an organization that is always looking for help.

What are your superpowers – something you’re good at that others should know about?

Not sure if this is a super power – but I am really good at the details. Whether it be a party/event or a project for work, I am sure to add the perfect finishing touches and it’s all about the details.

Accomplishment you’re proud of?

My family! There is nothing in my life that I am more proud of then my family.

Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)

I am happily married to my husband Andy, going on 22 years. Andy and I have four amazing kids (five counting our awesome son-in-law): Britt (Max), Kiera, Jackson, and Emma. We are also the proudest Mimi & Papa A to our grandson, Lou. When I am not hanging out with my favorite little guy, which I try to do all the time, I like to read, shop, craft, decorate, and hopefully travel more now our kids are getting older.

What is your favorite part of working at the firm?

I think I could go on and on about all the things I love about working at Hungerford, but I will stick to the one that comes to mind the most. The people! I work with some of the best people. Since the day I started at Hungerford, I have always felt welcome and part of the family. I love when we have events or meetings where I will get to see my co-workers because no matter their work location or how little I get to see them, they always feel like a friend.
