Jerry joined the firm in 1972, became a Shareholder in 1980, has been with the firm for over 40 years and participated in the growth of the firm from 10 employees to its current of 85.
Jerry has developed deep, long-term relationships with clients over his many years of service. He has become an essential advisor to many of these clients. He provides key ideas and assists with implementing strategies to improve business operations and minimize current and future tax dollars.
Jerry has been involved in a number of client business sales involving multi-million dollar transactions. He provides a sounding board for these companies’ management teams to maximize the potential of the business and to minimize the tax cost of the transactions – whether the sale is to current management, among shareholders, or to outside third parties.
Jerry enjoys living in West Michigan and spending time with family, friends and grandchildren at his home on Duncan Lake in Caledonia.
Jerry is an active member in the following organizations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and Accountants Global Network.
