Peggy has been serving closely-held and family-owned businesses in West Michigan for over 30 years. She joined the firm in 1995 and has full responsibility for a variety of business and individual client accounts. She focuses in the areas of taxation and assisting business owners in achieving greater profitability and meeting their goals. Her services include review and compilation of financial statements, tax return preparation, tax planning, representing clients before the IRS, litigation support assistance provided to attorneys, analyzing financial information, preparation of exhibits, and expert witness testimony. Additionally, her services include business planning, financing assistance and other management consulting.
Peggy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting and Minors in Law and General Business from Western Michigan University. Peggy earned her CPA certification in Michigan in 1983.
Peggy is also often called upon to present technical topics in client seminars and association meetings, and has been a regular guest on the WOOD Radio Morning News Show discussing tax-related topics. Peggy has been named one of the “Most Influential Women in West Michigan” by The Grand Rapids Business Journal in four separate years.
Peggy is an active member in the following organizations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; AGN International; Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants; Grand River Bank Board of Directors; Grand Rapids Civic Theatre Board of Directors; Grand Rapids Economic Development Foundation; Michigan Women’s Tax Association; The Economic Club of Grand Rapids.
