Steve began his career in the audit practice of a large national firm, and spent ten years auditing and consulting with financial institutions. During this time, Steve consulted and performed auditing services for FDIC and NCUA regulated community and regional banks, multi-state credit unions, and SEC registrants. He also completed his MBA from Grand Valley State University in 2007. Beginning in 2012, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of a local transportation company where he helped lead the transportation company to successive years of growth and cost efficiencies. At this position, he was also responsible for legal and tax relationships, as well as detailed financial reporting to the ownership group. Since 2015, Steve has served as a Senior Manager, primarily focusing on managing the compliance and consulting needs for employee benefit plans across multiple industries.
