TITLE Project Manager

LOCATION Grand Rapids, Michigan

 STATUS Full-time, occasional overtime required, limited client travel

 SUMMARY

The Project Manager of the Accounting Solutions Team will be a member of the department leadership team and an instrumental role in the success of the team’s vision and strategy over the next several years, and evolve into a position which sets the framework for successful client onboarding and completion of specific projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in a professional business environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and designation preferred, but not required

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES (Not meant to be an all-inclusive, but provide examples)

  • Facilitate Team Strategy & Vision
    • Drive end to end execution of department business plan & internal strategic projects
    • Produce and track KPI’s to measure ongoing success of initiatives
  • Team Coordination
    • Coordinate, schedule and attend internal meetings and prepare follow-up tasks for the team members involved
    • Oversee tasks in Asana to ensure tasks/projects are on track
  • Business Process Coordination
    • Coordinate development and documentation of internal department processes, and build and optimize efficiencies by creating standard operating procedures
  • Technology Universe Coordination
    • Manage multiple software/technology accounts and partner relationships
    • Manage software trainings, certifications, profiles, pricing and incentive programs, identifying and coordinating software champions, testing and vetting new software and new client set-up
  • Client Engagement Coordination
    • Proposals, engagement letters, new client set-up, and client on-boarding
  • Marketing
    • Lead and coordinate marketing initiatives to promote The Accounting Solutions Team brand including social media and web content, presentations and trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned
