I have experience in personal, business, and not for profit tax. I have also performed year-round accounting for small business clients in multiple industries. For Hungerford I will be doing primarily audit services with a mix of tax and AST where I can be helpful.
How do you like to give back to the community?
I have volunteered with multiple organizations including Compassionate Heart, God’s Kitchen, Feeding America, and VITA. I have also coached hurdles at Zeeland East High School and hope to get more into that now that I’m finished with my education.
What are your superpowers – something you’re good at that others should know about?
I have such a wide range of interests that I feel I can connect personally in some way to anyone. I pride myself in being able to make anyone comfortable in any situation by making them laugh or getting to know them outside of business.
Accomplishment you’re proud of?
I’m proud of consistently being on the Dean’s list during my time at Davenport during my graduate studies. I am also extremely proud of my track and field career. 9x All-State, 5x State Champion, 2x
Team Captain in high school. 1x Team Captain and multiple time All-Conference in the GLIAC for Davenport.
Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)
I am a triplet with two sisters and have a younger brother. Our family also includes a yellow lab named Josie. I like to work out with friends and still practice hurdles from time to time. I like to golf, bowl, and play slow pitch softball in my free time.
I get very nerdy with technology and have built multiple computers for myself over the years. I play video games competitively on a team with friends and can also be found occasionally at open mic nights at comedy clubs.
