What is your area of specialty – how do you best help your clients?
Most of my time is spent assisting non-profits in a variety of capacities, including audits, 990s and QuickBooks troubleshooting.
What are your top 5 strengths? What is your favorite strength?
Analytical, Responsibility, Discipline, Developer, Consistency. My favorite is developer.
How do you like to give back to the community?
I served on the board of Turning Pointe School of Dance for 6 years and currently serve as the PTA Treasurer for Waukazoo Elementary. I have also served as treasurer of my church for two years. We also partner with Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance to better serve the non-profits in our community.
What are your superpowers – something you’re good at that others should know about?
My superpower is modesty. It allows me to be flexible to contribute to the team whatever needs to be done to get the task done.
Accomplishment you’re proud of?
That’s easy! It’s my 3 kids. Seeing them grow, learn and question the world gives me so much balance in life.
Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)
My husband and I have 3 kids (2 in elementary and one toddler) and reside in Holland (practically born and raised). We love spending time by the pool or just hanging out together. We love our community and have committed to raising our children where we ourselves grew up.
What is your favorite part of working at the firm?
You never “know everything” and are challenged daily by peers, superiors and clients.
