Emily joined the firm in 2014 as a Staff Accountant on the tax team. She was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2017 and Manager in 2020. Prior to joining Hungerford Nichols, she worked at a smaller CPA firm for several years. There she gained experience preparing financial statements, preparing tax returns, and processing payroll. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University with a major in accounting. Emily’s service areas include review and compilation of financial statements, tax return preparation, and tax planning.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys being outdoors. Her hobbies include: snowmobiling, golfing, camping, and running. When she is feeling creative, she also enjoys do-it-yourself projects.
Emily is currently an active member in the following organizations: Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), Holland Young Professionals and the West Coast Chamber of Commerce.
