My favorite strength is learner. I have always enjoyed learning, which was fostered by my parents and many wonderful educators over the years. How do you like to give back to the community?
I am currently mentoring an accounting student through the MICPA mentorship program. I also participate in various events at my alma mater, Davenport University.

Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)
Although accountants are typically stereotyped as left-brained individuals, I enjoy tapping into my creative side through art, diy projects, and music. I have learned to play several different instruments including, piano, cello, and ukulele.
I also enjoy spending time outside biking, hiking, kayaking, and exploring the many recreational options that Michigan has to offer.
What is your favorite part of working at the firm?
As cliché as it sounds, the culture of HN is second to none. HN is truly committed to work-life balance and flexibility which is hard to come by working in public accounting. From the first day I met Hungerford employees at my college career fair, I knew that this was a team I wanted to be a part of. I feel blessed to work with and grow alongside some of the most talented individuals in the industry.
