I am currently in the Accounting Honors program at Davenport University. I am scheduled to receive my Bachelors degree in April of 2023 and my Masters degree in the fall of 2024.
What is your area of specialty – how do you best help your clients?
I would say that I specialize in communication, and I am especially handy with Excel macros. I have a knack for making data dynamic and meaningful. I also studied marketing for a few years, and I always have ideas.
What are your top 5 strengths? What is your favorite strength?
My top five strengths are Ideation, Intellection, Input, Activator, and Competition. My favorite strength is activator because I enjoy challenging others to think about things in different ways and from different angles.
How do you like to give back to the community?
I try to always support small businesses. My fiancé and I go to many of the local events around Grand Rapids such as the Fulton Street Farmers Market, Rockford Farmers Market, and different craft shows around the state. I also plan on becoming involved with the Grand Rapids Pride Center.
What are your superpowers – something you’re good at that others should know about?
I am great at public speaking. I really enjoy getting up in front of a group and teaching about a particular topic. I remember I used to be anxious until I had a class in college that required me to present every class period. While it was challenging at the time, I look back on it and realize that I became rather good at presenting because of it.
Accomplishment you’re proud of?
I received my Aircraft Electronics Technician’s license (AET) when I was only 17 years old.
Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)
Outside of work, I am a big fan of the outdoors. I love hiking and camping during the three seasons in Michigan where the air isn’t trying to kill you. I am also a big fan of anything fantasy. I play Dungeons and Dragons once a week at a local game shop and I love watching movies, reading books, and playing video games. I have been with my gorgeous fiancé Hailey for four years, and I have three siblings (two younger and one older).
What is your favorite part of working at the firm?
My favorite thing about Hungerford is the sense of community. I started as an Intern in August, and immediately my coworkers made me feel incredibly comfortable and I felt like I could ask questions and be myself.
