What is your area of specialty – how do you best help your clients?

I work in the Administrative Department of HN. Most of my interaction with clients happens at the beginning of providing services or after they have been rendered. I am able to communicate in a secure and timely fashion, and assist in providing the requested documentation.

What are your top 5 strengths? What is your favorite strength?

1. Positivity
2. Woo
3. Communication
4. Maximizer
5. Harmony

Woo is my favorite strength by far! I thrive on new situations and interactions where I can get to know people and learn what they are about.

How do you like to give back to the community?

For many years I was a mentor in the Northview Public School System. I continue to volunteer with various organizations our area. Working with the homeless and those suffering from food scarcity is where I’m committed to serve.

What are your superpowers – something you’re good at that others should know about?

I can make lemonade out of just about any lemons. I am able to find the good in most situations and provide laughter when things may be challenging. I enjoy helping others find solutions, even when it may seem there aren’t any.

Accomplishment you’re proud of?

My biggest accomplishment, by far, has been coming into an industry that I knew very little about and building a solid foundation, based off of the professionals I’m able to work with on a daily basis.

Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)

I have 4 kids, 2 who are out of the house and 2 who are finishing their last years in High School. Recently, I have taken up indoor rock-climbing and have found it to be truly empowering. I also enjoy walking outdoors, paddleboarding, and exploring all the restaurants and attractions Grand Rapids has to offer.

What is your favorite part of working at the firm?

Our firm really values it’s employees. I enjoy seeing accomplishments acknowledged and everyone, from senior leadership to incoming staff, is treated with the same level of care and respect.
