I joined the firm in 2018 as a Staff Accountant in the audit group, and previously had interned with the firm during the 2017 tax season. I obtained a Batchelor of Science in Accounting and Computer Information Systems at Northern Michigan University.

What is your area of specialty – how do you best help your clients?

My areas of specialty at the firm are Governmental Auditing and Federal Compliance Auditing, with a primary focus on school districts. I also work with a variety of for-profit and non-profit organizations.

I enjoy working with clients to support their variety of needs, such as guidance with internal control procedures or grants management. Ultimately, providing a clear understanding of financial performance to facilitate with future operating and budgeting decisions.

My favorite is arranger. This helps me in and out of work, with the ability to stay flexible with moving pieces that come my way but also organized to stay efficient and effective.

Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)

I love to spend my free time outdoors, and to be with family and friends. I enjoy golfing, biking, snowboarding, camping, and traveling.

What is your favorite part of working at the firm?

My favorite part about the firm is the supportive culture and the people I get to work with. I enjoy coming to work and being apart of a collaborative effort.
